Die Saitenmachertöchter geben ein  Konzert

... Carcass mountains, remnants of horses and dissected animals, a jumble of intestines, a huge pile of meat... And what a stench! ... The gut string makers have taken out the guts to make strings for musical instruments... People crowd into the concerts, without asking for the origin of the strings for violins, cellos and harps whose sounds inspire them... What a beauty even the ugliest thing can produce.

... Kadaverberge, Überreste von  Pferden und zerlegten Tieren, ein Durcheinander von Gedärmen, ein riesiger Fleischhaufen... Und was für ein Gestank!... Die Darmsaitenhändler haben die Eingeweide herausgenommen, um Saiten für Musikinstrumente daraus zu machen.... Menschen drängen sich in die Konzerte, ohne nach der Herkunft der Saiten für Geigen, Celli und Harfen zu fragen, deren Klänge sie begeistern... Was für eine Herrlichkeit noch das hässlichste Ding erzeugen kann.
